Overcoming Hiv Or Aids With A Natural, Non-toxic Herbal-blend Treatment - Promising Research Results

Posted on March 19, 2008 - Filed Under Health and Fitness

According to the WHO World Health Statistics 2007, “The exact number of people living with HIV is unknown. …the size of the epidemic had been overestimated previously but also it is still growing.” The present estimate is that 39.5 million people are infected with HIV, the human immunodeficiency virus, including two million children in Africa.

Investigating potential HIV cures therefore becomes a critical factor in gaining control of the spread and progressive effects of the virus. To date HIV research has resulted in drug treatments that extend the life-span of those with HIV. AZT, the initial antiretroviral therapy, added a few months to life. Newer more sophisticated highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) extends survival by an average of thirteen years.

This life extension however comes with high risk. Serious side effects and toxicities may hinder the effectiveness of the AIDS “cocktail.” The much publicized side effects of this mixture of noxious chemicals include nausea and vomiting, chronic fatigue, daily bouts of diarrhea and severe stomach pain, a sharp increase in arterial plaque, and, for some, “lypodystrophy”, a redistribution of body fat in unusual ways. Resistance to taking this “cocktail” is common and frequently violent gagging prevents ingestion of the twice daily dosage. Beyond these side effects toxicities ensuing from the drug combinations range from mild and inconvenient to serious and terminal and include increasing cholesterol, heart attack, liver failure, and insulin resistance.

Additionally, many who are treated and some who are newly infected can have drug-resistant strains of HIV and in some cases be resistant to more than one drug. Patients may also voluntarily reduce their intake of the drugs because of side effects such as neuropathy, nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, and fever. Consequently the resistant strains can be transmitted to others and, in turn, the rate of drug resistance in the HIV population increases.

Obviously, although current treatments can improve the length and perhaps quality of life for those with HIV, they are not a cure. Taking antiretroviral drugs is a daily and risky necessity for those infected with HIV. A natural cure, therefore, would provide a safer, less expensive and more humane HIV treatment than the currently available potentially toxic options.

Has such a natural cure already been discovered? A preliminary investigation by an independent laboratory in August 2005 of a proprietary natural herbal blend reported significant clinical effects in elevating quality of life and almost complete alleviation of many HIV/AIDS infection symptoms such as fever, influenza and rashes. The tested herbal blend formula reduced illness, readjusted weight, dissolved blood clots and halted sweating. CD4 (T-cell) counts increased above 200 in more than 70% of the sample and as much as 950% in one patient who had been diagnosed in 1996.

Pharmacologically, the herbal blend proved to resist the HIV virus, improve immunity and relieve related conditions including but not limited to physical weakness, headache, body aches, pharyngitis, dry cough and diarrhea. It was especially effective in reducing physical weakness that resulted in easy contraction of influenza.

Moreover, the herbal blend did not show any significant adverse effects towards heart vessels, the liver or the kidneys. No adverse effects were discovered in clinical applications and there were no toxic side effects, indicating that the combination is highly safe.

The conclusions reached after this limited trial were that this herbal blend can be used conveniently and is acceptable to HIV/AIDS patients at various stages with wide clinical applications.

The results of this study however are meant for reference only with errors possible due to the limited number of samples available, strong resistance by the volunteers and geographic limits. In addition, the tests were done by doctors at different sites and samples were submitted at different times.

In light of this current knowledge, WorldWellness Inc. which operates globally as a not-for-profit health care agency has committed to conducting a formal clinical trial to determine if this natural herbal blend truly does no harm as Hippocrates advised. Is this herbal blend an effective, safe, affordable and humane HIV/AIDS treatment? The trial begins as soon as sufficient funding is available to launch the study.
